Sheila Heti is a Canadian writer known for seminal works such as How Should a Person Be? Sheila and I have a project, which began in 2006, in which we meet every 6 years to compare notes on how our lives have unfolded, offer each other advice, and create images and recordings of our. I was asked to create a fashion editorial of Sheila for Violet Magazine during one such trip, set in Niagara Falls. Sheila was to be featured in the magazine as part of the launch of her book, Motherhood.
